unable to offer any comment as we are not in touch with
the cost of labour at Hong Kong. Te think, however, the
number of men's daya allowed on each section should be
adequate provided the amount of pavement work to be
done is not great.

The plans, and lists marked A.1, A.II, B.,
B.I, B.II and B.III., received with your letter are
returned herewith as requested.
16. Blue print copies of the 25 drawings enumerated
in our list marked "Z" are enclosed for transmission to
the Colony. We have retained a duplicate of each.
17. We regret that this report has been so serious-
ly delayed, but this has been due antirely to difficulty
in obtaining prices from manufacturers who are expensively
busy in connection with the War.
